Starting Services


 

Thank you for choosing Busy Bee Diaper Service! With Busy Bee Diapers, choosing cloth diapers will be a cinch. First you need to select one of our three starter kits and the number of diapers you want delivered each week. Generally we suggest the following amount for a fully week's supply:

70 diapers for newborns

50 diapers for infants

40 for toddlers.

If you find that you need more or fewer, we can adjust the number delivered each week.


We will set up an orientation meeting to deliver your starter kit, first week's diapers, and provide a cloth diapering demonstration. At this time we will collect payment for the starter kit and the first month's diaper supply. If you are an expectant mother, your regular deliveries will begin when you inform us that you and the baby have arrived home safely from the hospital. Otherwise, your service will begin the week following the orientation.

Weekly Services

 

 

Once your weekly services have begun, place your dirty diapers in the agreed upon location by 8am on your regular pick up day. We will leave the clean diapers and any additional add-ons ordered from us in the same spot.


Diaper counts work on a two week rotation; therefore, the number of diapers you order should be the number you have on hand each week. For example, if you order 70 diapers, we will deliver 70 diapers the first and second week. At the end of the second week you have 10 clean diapers left over; now you have 80 diapers on hand. The third week we will deliver 60 diapers (the 10 on hand plus the 60 delivered equals 70). With your monthly invoice you will receive 4-5 tags to attach to your bag of soiled diapers. Before placing out the soiled diapers, count the number of clean diapers and write that number on your tag.


Once a month you will receive a monthly invoice including your weekly service charge and any add-ons that were ordered. You will receive your invoice at the end of the month and payment will be collected no later than 14 days before the next month's service begins. Currently we only accept cash and check payments. You may attach check payments to the bag of diapers. You must be present for cash payments and can call or email us to arrange a time for this. If you notice that you need more diapers or fewer diapers or would like to purchase any add-ons, you can contact us at least 3 days prior to your delivery date to make those changes.
